1. Your Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and its transpositions across all European Union Member States, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase without providing any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, physically takes possession of the goods.
To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by means of an unambiguous statement. You can do this by sending an email to support@bricomagazin24.com, by filling out the form on our Contact page, or by sending us a letter. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the 14-day period has expired.
Upon receiving your withdrawal notification, our customer support team will acknowledge your request within 24 to 48 hours. You will receive a return authorisation reference number along with detailed instructions specifying the return shipping address, recommended packaging guidelines, and any other relevant information to ensure your return is processed smoothly.
2. Conditions for Returns
For a return to be accepted and a full refund to be issued, the following conditions must be satisfied:
- The return request must be initiated within 14 calendar days from the date the goods were delivered to you or your designated recipient.
- The products must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as when you received them. Minor handling to inspect the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods is permitted, consistent with how you would examine goods in a physical retail store.
- All original packaging, tags, labels, manuals, and accessories must be included. Products returned without their original packaging or with missing components may be subject to a deduction from the refund amount to account for the reduced value.
- You must include the return authorisation reference number provided by our team, either inside the parcel or clearly marked on the outside of the package.
We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount if the returned goods show signs of use, damage, or alteration that goes beyond what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product. In such cases, we will inform you of the reduced refund amount and the reasons for the deduction before processing the return.
3. Return Shipping Costs
For the majority of orders, the direct cost of returning the goods is the responsibility of the customer. This means you will need to arrange and pay for the return shipping yourself. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during return transit.
There are specific situations in which return shipping is provided free of charge:
- The product listing or promotional campaign under which you purchased the item expressly states that free returns are included.
- You received a product that is defective, damaged upon arrival, or materially different from the description on this site. In these cases, we will either arrange a prepaid return label or reimburse your return shipping costs.
- We sent you an incorrect item that does not match your order.
In all other circumstances, the customer bears the return shipping expense. The original delivery charges paid at the time of purchase are refundable only if you are returning all items from the order and the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.
4. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged during transit, or different from what you ordered, please contact us immediately — and in any case within 48 hours of delivery. Provide your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photographic evidence wherever possible. Our team will acknowledge your report within 24 to 48 hours and offer one of the following resolutions:
- Replacement: We will dispatch a replacement item at no additional cost to you, subject to availability.
- Full Refund: If a replacement is not available or not desired, we will issue a full refund including the original delivery charges.
- Partial Refund: In certain cases, where the product is usable despite minor cosmetic imperfections, we may offer a partial refund if you choose to keep the item. This option is entirely at your discretion.
For defective or incorrectly shipped items, we will arrange the return logistics at our expense. You will not be asked to cover any return shipping costs in these situations.
5. Non-Returnable Items
Certain categories of products cannot be returned for hygiene, safety, or legal reasons. These include:
- Products that have been sealed for health protection or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken after delivery (for example, certain personal care gadgets, bathroom accessories that come in direct contact with the body, or certain kitchen tools with hygienic seals).
- Products that have been customised or personalised to your specifications.
- Products that have been inseparably combined with other goods after delivery.
- Gift cards and voucher codes.
If a product falls into a non-returnable category, this will be clearly indicated on the product page at the time of purchase. If you are unsure whether a product is eligible for return, please contact us before placing your order.
6. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item at our facility, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed within 14 calendar days using the following methods:
- Card Payments: Refunded to the original credit or debit card used for the purchase. Please allow 5 to 10 additional business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement, depending on your card issuer.
- PayPal: Refunded directly to your PayPal account. Typically reflected within 3 to 5 business days.
- Cash on Delivery Orders: Since there is no card on file, we will process refunds via bank transfer. We will request your IBAN and bank details through a secure channel. Bank transfers may take 5 to 10 business days to clear, depending on your bank and country.
7. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you wish to exchange a product for a different variant (size, colour, model), please initiate a standard return as described above and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures the fastest possible resolution, as you do not need to wait for the return to be processed before ordering the replacement.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe after receiving our refund confirmation email, please take the following steps: first, check your bank account or payment provider again, as processing times vary. Next, contact your bank or credit card company, as there is often a delay before a refund is officially posted. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@bricomagazin24.com and we will investigate the matter promptly.
9. Statutory Consumer Rights
This Return and Refund Policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights under applicable national laws implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods. Where national law provides greater protection than described in this policy, your statutory rights shall prevail.
In particular, the two-year statutory guarantee of conformity ensures that if a product proves defective within two years of delivery, you have the right to demand repair, replacement, or, where neither is possible, a price reduction or full refund, regardless of the 14-day withdrawal period.
